GSFTV in conjunction with Mark Burnett Productions is in full production of the first series of "The Apprentice, New Zealand".

Over 2,500 New Zealander's applied to appear on the series and in the end 14 lucky contestants were selected and called to Auckland.

The series is being fronted by rich lister and property developer Terry Serepisos who has the inevitable job of saying "Your Fired!" once a week. Terry is better known as the generous patron of New Zealand soccer, funding the Wellington Phoenix, a team which provides the backbone to the New Zealand Soccer team, which recently qualified for the World Cup for 2010.

The Apprentice is currently in production in Auckland and will air on TV2 in 2010.
