Eating Media Lunch wins award

Eating Media Lunch wins prestigious comedy award. Great Southern's satirical series, Eating Media Lunch, has been named New Zealands Best Comedy at the 2008 Qantas Media Awards. The team - minus its creative chief Paul Casserly, picked up the highly prized gong at the awards at Auckland's Civic Theatre.

The series, which is currently in production of its eighth series, runs on TV2 - and is put together by a highly talented team of writers, producers and editors - and is hosted by Jeremy Wells.

Great Southern is very proud of everyone involved in the series - they have worked really hard for the award - and everyone is looking forward to their upcoming political series.
