Award for Great Southern Television

GSTV was recently honoured by New Zealand on Air with a comedy award for the popular Eating Media Lunch series - presented to MD Philip Smith by Broadcasting Minister, Steve Maharey.

Thanks heaps to NZ on Air - they have supported so many great ideas in the NZ Industry over the past decade. As Kiwi producers we are very lucky to have this fund available to us. The government should give them heaps more money then everyone would stop complaining about crap telly from overseas.

Maybe another hundy mil from that 7 billion surplus? Well maybe ten mil to start with ...

The award ceremony led to a long night and a short morning, followed by a difficult afternoon and an early night. The following day was normal, we are pleased to report.
